What U.S. Customers Need to Know About Swift Hockey Tariffs
Mar 04, 2025
At Swift Hockey, transparency matters. We want U.S. customers to clearly understand how tariffs and import duties work when ordering hockey equipment, and—just as importantly—how we work to keep those costs as low as possible.
Swift Hockey products are manufactured in Pakistan and distributed through both international channels and our U.S.-based facility. When an order ships from our U.S. facility, it is considered a domestic shipment and does not incur U.S. import tariffs. Orders shipping internationally may be subject to U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) duties, depending on the product classification.
As of the U.S. tariff update on March 4, 2025, sporting goods imported into the United States may be subject to duties. Because our products are made in Pakistan, they generally fall under low or duty-free tariff classifications, helping reduce costs for our customers.
Any applicable duties or customs fees are determined by CBP and are the responsibility of the importer of record (the buyer). Swift Hockey does not collect or control these fees.
To minimize impact, we:
- Maintain a U.S. fulfillment facility
- Classify products accurately under U.S. tariff codes
- Provide complete customs documentation
- Partner with carriers that offer transparent brokerage services
Our goal is simple: deliver elite hockey gear with no surprises at the border.
