How U.S. Import Tariffs Affect Swift Hockey Orders

Understanding import tariffs can be confusing, so here’s a clear breakdown of how they apply to Swift Hockey products shipped into the United States.

Swift Hockey manufactures its equipment in Pakistan and operates a fulfillment facility in the United States. Orders shipped from our U.S. facility move domestically and are not subject to import tariffs. Orders shipped internationally may be reviewed by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP).

Following the March 4, 2025 U.S. tariff update, certain sporting goods may be subject to import duties. However, hockey equipment manufactured in Pakistan typically qualifies for low or zero base duty rates, depending on classification.

If duties apply:

• The customer is the importer of record
• Fees are assessed by CBP or the carrier
• Payment is required before release of the shipment

Swift Hockey is not responsible for import fees, but we actively work to reduce them through correct tariff classification, compliant documentation, and smart logistics planning.
